Gedichte

Laut Wikipedia  : Poesie ist eine sehr alte literarische Gattung mit vielfältigen Formen, die in der Regel in Versen geschrieben wird, aber auch Prosa zulässt. Der Begriff stammt aus dem Altgriechischen ποίησις (poiesis), vom Verb ποιεῖν (poiein), was „machen, erschaffen“ bedeutet  : Der Dichter ist also ein Schöpfer. Als Erbe einer langen mündlichen Tradition bevorzugt der Dichter Musikalität und Rhythmus.

Until 1878, „poésie“ (poetry) was written „poësie“ in French (the diaeresis marked a disjunction between the vowels ‚o‘ and ‚e‘). The term „poetry“ and its derivatives „poet“ and „poem“ come from the ancient Greek ποίησις (poiesis), the verb ποιεῖν (poiein) meaning „to make, to create“  : the poet is therefore a creator, an inventor of expressive forms, as also revealed by the medieval terms „trouvère“ and „troubadour“. The poet also seeks expressivity through the weight given to words and the use of figures of speech, primarily images and analogies, sought for their suggestive power.
